Corrado Mirrors: HOW TO?
I know there are vans out there wil 'rado mirrors. Anyone able to share what was required to get them to fit on. Im not worried about the electrics side as that is easy-ish to add later on once they are in place.

I've just done last weekend...
It isn't a straightforward thing, mainly because the way the bolts go through the mirror base are at an angle.
The way I went about it was to grind the bottom of the bolt holes down flat on the base of the new mirrors, this lets the units actually sit on the door. Then I set a drill (8mm I think) through the original captive nut on the door at an angle of about 15 degrees (the angle that the bolts go through the mirror base). Stuck a bolt through, then marked the other bolt hole (they are further apart than the original mirrors) and drilled another hole through.
the mirror then sits on the frame flush with two bolts running through.
to take up the angle that the bolts are at so that a Nut sits flat I took some steel tube, fairly heavy walled stuff, about 10mm diameter, and ground an angle into the face, the same as the bolts are going through. this makes the spacer so the nut can sit flush. Its very fiddly getting the nuts on and making sure its all tight, plenty of adjustments to make, but all seems good now.

To fit my corrado mirrors i used a piece of 15mm thick alloy plate to make a base i then tapped angled threads into alloy for corrado mirror and countersank the standard fixing bolt heads that go into the door by doing it this way i didnt have to redrill my door and can go back to stock mirrors if i choose to without welding and repainting my doors.

yes but with them being electric you can easily lower them when reversing plus there £30-40 a set not £250 for the T25 one's
