even though its got 10bhp more than a standard cu?
dont need the van to go that fast, just to keep up really.
plus it would help my small wallet too...

ive got a 2.0 pinto lump in my crewie sits happy at 90 been over 100 a few times but abit wobberly with my big tyres on it drinks petrol around 160 per tank of fuel (the way i drive) thought a std 1.9dg was bad
anyway ive got a piper cam and twin 40 webber to go on just for the inviroment but im still waiting for someone to cash into my passat tdi so i can goto diesel maybe one day
for a ford conversion ive got you need to change the gbox input shaft this means you keep the ford starter motor and clutch and flywheel have fun reg

Well as said already, the 2 litre pinto is fine. my transporter has one in with a standard 4 speed volks box. She has been to 90 but i cruise her at 80 because the rev counter is not wired in so i dont wanna over rev her. I have had problems with the timing though, which is nearly there, im just after a timing light so i can tweak her now i have the correct specs from the book.
