Wow, that makes an alleged half of the RHD Tristars for sale at the moment.... h'mmmmm maybe there were more than 6 bought into the UK..... but that would make someone's information wrong - surely can't be the case.

I actualy owened VW through the eightys and early ninetys.No syncro left without me nowing. :rofl
No to be seriouse ,Mcsyncro (when he still had his try star) got all the relevant info from vw on the amount sold aswell as howmany sold each year and where.Not that dificult if u have a friend willing with ability.

That truck is wearing Guernsey plates, If anyone does buy it you need to be aware that you will have to import into the U.K. and V.A.T. will be due at 17.5% on the purchase price or the value customs put on it.I did it with a Range Rover.
Also it will type conformity. As for registering it, ah well it goes on and on. Nice bus though.
Oh and Condor Ferries are the only way back but a good trick get a student to go, they can bring the vehicle in and themselves for half price and you go as a foot passenger.
It's nothing a great deal of time and money can't fix
