No Oil Warning Lamp

Post by Sir Chad »

Hi, firstly big thanks to everyone who helped me source a crankcase breather - especially Skell.
Now for the latest...I've got a 1984 petrol 1.9 w/c I've noticed that the oil warning light doesn't come on before I start the engine. Has Anyone out there had this problem & have you got any top tips.
I'm going to to start by checking that the sender hasn't stuck with it's contacts closed - then I guess I'll have to take the dash to bits to check the lamp  I'm going to keep a close eye on the oil level too!
Any advice or words of encouragement will be well appreciated.
Chad
