Theres a proper beetle jet car at santa pod at most events, it never runs the 1/4 just quick full power and then back off.

It seems to get off to a slugish start and then all of a sudden accelerates rapidly. I would think its the normal beetle problem of they like to take off at speed, especially when fitted with a jet engine.

Hmm. saw art arfons in the green monster do the world records week end at elvington(2 mile runway)
Std 1/4 and mile, as for the flying times then not much run up, full reheat, lots of diamonds then off, scary when your only 50 yds away, also saw a starfighter powered motor run, noise was brilliant.

Ah back to 1.6 n/a !!
