Quick zig/leccy question

Post by purplechugster »

Quick zig question, 'cos people have told me different things...

Ive got a zig like this...

ziggy

... when the vans plugged into the 240V mains, do the batteries get charged, or is it only supplying power to the electrical stuff?

If the batteries are charging, which gets priority? :?

Thanking you in ignorance once again

The Zig CF8 is a "Battery Charging and Distribution Unit" so if it is wired correctly then yes is should charge your batteries.

Dont forget to put switches down when you are standing and particularly if you are on a 'hook up'

forgot to say you can get the instructions for the Cf 8 from Peter Everard web site. Very useful. Use search engine to find on web.

Thanks for that. I'll worry less about flattening the battery if I know that it'll charge via the hook-up :D

The instructions are on the wiki for the CF8 and it only charges the leisure battery not the starting battery.
