gear stick converter

Hi peeps iam after info about the gear stick convertion kit .
itsthe one that shortens the travel eg donsent bang the cd player everytime you change gear.
any ideas

you mean a quick shift kit.mocki was selling them.as is si brickyard

if you have a diesel the kit has to be fitted from under the van...

Brickwerks and Mocki have my kits.. or you can get direct from me..

Its only the Factory turbo D vans that need to be fitted from below, they have a different floor section that is higher, so all the linkage is under the floor, all others inc air cooleds fit from above and very easy..
It fits 4 and 5 speed boxes..

you should really repair your gear lever as it is before you add the short shift kit. I replaced the bushes and bits and the gear lever now feels great and hardly travels about now.

Yes, you should make sure the bushes in the system are in good nick, before fitting the short shifter.. The short shift wont make up for worn out linkages...

Please clarify which T25 years/ models these kits are for - and the benefits ..........??
