How much coolant?

Post by Kit Bones »

How much coolant mixture does the empty system take, I'm still a bit confused on this one. I've never been able to get the full 16-18 litres the Haynes manual sugests in there. I've just bought 8 litres of coolant from GSF to mix (new pink stuff by the way, is that good? they said they don't do the blue anymore) and the bloke reckoned I was buying way too much?? Any thoughts?

Cheers, Chris

Don't listen to a word they say. Tried to tell me I wouldn't get all that gearbox oil in my tiny gearbox, then tried to sell me it in little top up bottles. Bloody mad they are.

Thanks for that. Just had a re-count, I did get 9 litres (6 X 1.5 litres bottles), that should do it then.
