play in clutch and brake pedals

Hello, (1988 E reg panel van, 1.6 TD - JX, 5 speed)

There is a bit of play in both my clutch and brake pedals, side to side as well as up and down, about 1cm each way. I don't recall it being there about 2 weeks ago, but I could be wrong, and just didn't notice it before.

Is there a pivot which is common to both pedals? How do I get to the pivots?

Any help appreciated,

From ETKA looks like the pin is commin (about 4" long) Part No. 251 721 075

The bsuhes are slightly different:
411 721 153A (brake side, 2)
411 721 153A (clutch side, 2)

All held togeher with a roll-pin to the right and a spring circlip to the left (it seems)

Shouldn't be too hard taking a look under there and working out what is causing the play, in fact being foot pedals, you should do just that asap

Aha, copy & paste eror as usual at that late hour - those part nos should be:-

411 721 153A (Brake side)
411 721 153 (Clucth side)
