Hazard lights electrickery
Dad's van...... 1988.
The indicators work fine, the hazards don't at all, when the switch is put to on the switch doesn't light up and the green light on the dash flashes on & off erratically, the relay clicks like mad same as the dash light.
All the other lights work ok, the relay is ok cos we changed that with mine and it was fine.
Any clues? Seems like a loose wire type thing but can't find anything wrong.

Mine did exactly that - it was a loose wire type thing

The connection in question was the earth wire (or was it the other one? There are only two, it has to have been one of them) at the switch, and it kept pulling apart while putting the switch/warning light back in the dash, so fooled me for a bit until I took the switch out completely and then tried it - hey, presto, flashing orange lights all round!

Just like when the RAC come to give the van a tow

One T25 in London, another one in Sydney.
