brake lights failed

i have no brake lights, all other lights work ok.................is there a common fault? cheers rich

Brake light failed.

Check the connections on the brake pressure operated switch ( attached to the brake master cylinder), if they look OK ,take them off, get a piece of wire and connect the two cables to-gether, if the brake lights come on using this method, then the switch is at fault. I take it you have checked your fuses/bulbs first?
