NERC - goodbye green lanes?

Post by JetJackson »

I've not seen much talk of the NERC bill thats just gone through Parliament on here.

This bill closes all green lanes that are RUPPs to vehicles, so it is now only legal to drive on a Byway Open to All Traffic, and UCRs not recorded as RUPP, bridleway or footpath.

Do people know about this?

The news isnt good but not as bad as it could have been. Garburn and Walna in the lakes are gone R.I.P, the Scar was a real lane! Still there are over 70 lanes still OK in the lakes. The YDNPA will undoubtedly take the Mickey with there TRO powers but we will see.

I aint pleased but havn't given up as yet...................
