What can be bent, can be straigtened again. For a price of course. This is NOT a cheap hobby, I should know !

No syncro you can off road is worth anything like £3k---or it wouldnt be once yerd offroaded it---
I beg to differ my good man
I've missed nothing of your point
My van is worth more than £3k And I take if off road
Doing this I have suffered a slightly scratched roof, a small dink on the front lower valance and slightly bent the lip along n/s sill. I've had great fun, scared myself silly at times but always driven well within the vans capabilities and doubt very much I've reduced it's value whatsoever. If anything, I've proven my engine / box / VC, diff locks are all in good order to anyone that might want to buy it.
So I begged to differ.
But what do I know, I only own a syncro, I've only been to syncro meets, I only read syncro websites, I only keep an eye on syncro prices here and abroad.
If you do want to preach your views Billy, do expect to people to reply to you smart a***

Since January mine's had a recon engine, a replacement gearbox, a Westy interior, and I've managed to about halve it's value - shouldn't have spent the money on bling, all I really needed was a lhs wing mirror that doesn't move at will......

"HEY, LOOK AT MY CAR"
I bid you farewell.......for now.......
