Red = Positive
Brown = Negative

One of the thinner browns should have a red tracer, these 2 are the single speaker wire,

Blue/grey = illumination

The yellow might be to go to the ignition so stereo comes on when ignition is turned on andgoes off when ignition is turned off but dont hold me to that its just a rough guess mate

some have a wire, either yellow or white, that goes off to the automatic aerial.... guess most of us don't have that!

Standard wiring colours.

Red - Constant live.
Brown - Earth
Grey/blue - illumination.

Thats all the factory gave you.

If you want to have it switch on and off with the ignition then you need to find a black wire as that is ignition live.

I wouldn't bother with the factory wiring, the earth isn't really up to the job of delivering whats required for todays modern high output head units.

Run fresh wires, obviously it makes sense to take power for the radio from the auxilliary battery so you can leave the radio on while camped up with no fear of flattening the vans starter battery.

where abouts are you?? wire it fresh! don't uyse what's there cos it just aint up to it! make sure you join the fat yellow and the red together! then you won't need to find an iggnitiion live! the other colours on the power plug are black for -ve blue for amp live and two others can't remember colours but one is auto areal and the other is hands free mute. make sur e the ones you don't use get put into connector strip! have fun!

I've got a powered/electronic antenna that has the coaxil type wire and a red wire - anyone know where the red wire might go to?? Someone suggested the blue wire on my stereo wiring harness (modern stereo)

take it too the blue!! most modern stereos have a dedicated output for an auto arieal! so if there's another wire other than blue try that too!
