I want to buy service/overhaul kit for my carburettor, Pierburg 2E3, but I seem to remember from previous posts there are some differences, different accelerator pumps/diaphragms if I remember correctly.
I want to order the bits tomorrow and want to try to get the right kit first time, does anyone know the differences and which kit I need. I'm thinking of buying the bits from Gower and Lee but I've seen Euro car parts also do a kit. I'm not sure this is the correct kit. Has anyone bought this kit from Euro car parts? Are there any other suppliers if I struggle with Euro and Gower/Lee?
Which Service kit do I need for Pierburg 2E3 Carburettor?

The length of the diapragm/shaft inside accelerator pump has at least two variants
earlier 17mm
later 22mm
I haven't got measurements of the housing but it should be possible to work out which size fits - measure from line where housing bolts onto carb, to point where level acts on the pump.
Gower and Lee should be able to sort you out if you give them the part no from your carb
can't find any part nos for you as I've banished windows from all my machines now in favour of linux...
you could always visit a vw parts counter with your chassis no
