Lost me indicators, closer inspection revealed a blown flasher unit. Ive replaced this but there still not working......the light on the dash is coming on but not flashing and none of the indicators are flashing.
Any suggestions please?

Is T'Onion Ringo's Dad??????
my suggestion is that there is an earth problem. 99.something cases of crap electrics on any motor is down to crap earths, that is my experience of 40 years motoring.
so look for corroded earths, green powder etc.
also chafed wire that short out when rubbing.Other cause is overloading circuits ut more rare.

I'm assuming you have a pre 85 van, although a clue would help.....
if you have,
behind the fuse box, on the bulkhead , is a block of earth connections, check these.....
also check the flasher unit you put in has contacted, and that the wires onto the fuse box are still connectin for the indecators.....
if none of this works, behind the fuse box, there is a flat plug and socket, with three wires, green/black, black and grey iirc, check this is still connected properly.....
When I had lighting problems, I traced the earthing "crown" thingy described by Mocki. The connectors were so fragile, I cut them all off and fitted new connectors to all the wires-the electrics have never been so good !
Kind regards
