hi to all of you out there.........as you can see i am a new member to the forum and will nodought be asking the same old questions......

i have an 82 Aircooled devon and i have just (as in 1hrs ago) got some 16'' granny cosworth alloys.


will i have any fitment problems or will they go straight on ? :?

you'll need to get the fronts bored out to fit over the bearing cap mate

Speak to user Futbus on here - he's just machined his 16" Cosworth alloys out and fitted them, so will be able to advise..

Paulb, as DH says i have two sets 1 fitted to my syncro the other to my red shed 2wd transporter. I have my own machine shop so can advise on what size to machine the centres to etc.

thems the ones....

thanks for the advice my fellow dubers......

i have found out today that they needed to be machined....

well an internal grinder and a burring tool....... :oops:

only had to do the front two but ill do the rears at the weekend.

glad with the result as they look much better than the black steels an caps

oo and i had to remove the two location bolts no the rear hubs

i think ill get some longer nuts and bolts too
