Support for bench seat - no bulkhead

Hello,

I've got a walkthrough panel van with a bench seat taken out of a panel van that had a bulkhead. The rear of the seat was previously bolted somehow to the bulkhead.

What is the best way to support the back of the bench seat, I imagine some kind of bar going right across the van with welded brackets to support the bench seat at both sides. How would this be fixed to the van itself?

Anybody else got round this problem?
