can a clutch be put on the wrong way round?

Big lumps of metals and spanners.

can a clutch be put on the wrong way round?

Post by lhd »

I have just fitted a new clutch which seems to work fine. The only problem I have is that the clutch pedal will now not push down to the floor. I was wondering, If I put it on the wrong way round ( hope not).
I know I checked it first, but now can not recall which way round it was. It seemed to fit on fine. The pedal depressed fine before the refit so it must be something that I have done.

If ure clutch plate was the wrong way round it wouldnt work at all.
When desturbing the T25 clutch sylinder(slave) sometimes all sorts of
strange things can happen.Bleed it a few times and see if that cures it.
