Inner sill replacement advice...

Hi all.
Now the sun is on its way, I am considering tackling my rusty inner sill. LHD slide door side.
has anybody done this befoer, is it easy, wheres best place to get parts.ect.ect.

I thinnk you can get these from www.ahschofields.co.uk , they are very helpful on the phone although i think the website pic for bodywork is a bit naff.

Didnt DH Thomas have this done to his ....I seem to remember reading about it on here...Good Job...

just had mine done underneath slidey door (rhd). Got sill from JK £80 and welder charged me 150 squids for that work plus some more. Weren't an easy replacement for him as old was soooo rusty.

But work passed the MOT man!!! And Scoobs has another year on the road...

MAD Workshops in Bristol did an outer sill on my bus. It went there rather than me doing it as the bodywork needed pulling straight prior to replacing.

Yes I think I will need an outer myself. How much did it cost, and did the price including re-painting.
