Electric windows

Post by KarlT »

Hi all

Anyone else had problems with their front Electric windows?

Mine seem to want to move ie....10mm drop but then stops or might move a little more but very slowly seems to be really struggling.

I was hoping bad earth rather than motors. But where do I find it?

Not bothering me at moment but can see it getting annoying in summer.

My windows open fine, but struggle to close.
I'll have a look when it isnt raining or so cold.

I'd look at the runners and guides.
spray some switch cleaner at the switches for good measure.

Have you had the door cards off to see if anything is amiss? I would check the wiring where it enters the door as this would be a likely place for something to get trapped. Sorry if this aint much help and a bit basic but I've only got hand wind windows.
