Vacuum advance unit

Post by DaveG »

Hi all,

Could someone advise me where I can get a new vacuum advance unit for a 1900 engine.

I looked on the justcampers website, and can only find vacuum advance units for the T2 camper. Are these the same???

Or if anyone has a good second hand one the want to sell. Please let me know. :)

Cheers
Dave

£15.15 + vat from your local VW dealer, he'll make sure you get the right one

Really Aiden?

I used a beetle one and drilled the mounting screw holes out.. slightly different position.. works perfectly.. but thats a bargain... wish I had bothered to go see my useless dealer back then!!

that's the price for the DG one at the mo'.
The prices do change, somethings get cheaper, some more expensive, don't know why. Always worth checking with vw if you can, gives you an idea of what the part's worth second hand and if it's still available.
