Westy Leisure battery

The control light is green after a run but if I stop, then turn on my eberspacher it goes orange then red within about a minute then the eber dies as well.

Is my battery past it?

If you start the eber with the engine running and leave it in it runs all day then.

If it dies that quick then I would say the battery is had it.

The eber cuts out below a certain voltage (10.5v I think) so with the engine running it will stay on, also should work with hookup pluged in?

take your battery out.put it on charge for 24hrs. test voltage.leave it stood for another 24hrs.if the voltage has dropped its knacked...

attached a meter to it and it reads 13v but as soon as the heater comes on it rapidly goes below 11v then the heater stops

will try charging it

what is a good price for a battery then?

does it contines running if you have your engine running ie charger the leisure battery?

Had the same probelm recently with mine,,,,,,,,

Get another battery mate not worth all the hassle of taking them in and out.......cos lets face it, it can be a pain in the ass.

There was a thread around here somewhere about a battery that fits under there.........
