Tuning Petrol engines to run on Bioethylene

Post by trundletruc »

Now this can be bought at "fuel" stations with 85% b/e and the rest petrol. How can you tune the DG and DJ engines to run on it?

Surely this must be possible because the new SAAB and Ford cars tune themselves automatically depending on the percentage.

Are there any experts out there?

They have used it in Brazil for ages. Do they run type 2s on it considering that they are still making them out there?

I hink they have stopped making them now, also it was a fuel injected engine in the modern ones not a carb afaik.

I am fairly certain t2's all had carbs and were converted to injection using beetle parts in this country when imported to meet european emission requirements.
