i was using the 12v outlet above the fridge to power a mini-compressor when the plug moved and killed the water and battery lights.

I've had a look in the fuse box below the steering wheel and everything looks fine - i.e. terminal 20, which is where the workshop manual says these lights are.

Is there another fuse box solely for the camping stuff and where is it located?

that 12v outlet is non-standard so the fuse could be anywhere,try the fuse box behind the drivers seat , small two fuse box on the wall beneath the seat belt reel,this should be for the fridge etc.
