Westy Control Panel
Have read the Joker manual and it says that the green light bottom right with a star next to it only comes on when the fridge is using gas.
Mine is on whenever you flick the switch to check water levels etc. no matter what state the fridge is in.
Is this right?

"green light bottom right"
Do you mean the, (refering and looking at the manual now), light that comes on when you flick the lowest switch ( B) in the book. C and D are the control lights for the De-Icer........??
Mine is red when I flick the "B" switch. so I don't need to de-ice mine.
You never really need to use the de-icer switch, however if you are flicking the top switch "A" and you are getting a green light either side for the top 3 control lights water and battery then.either your leisure battery is fully charged or your water tank is full..
Does that help or have I just confused you even more........

It is not the red de-icer light but another one below the water level with a star next to it - defo green though!
Yep thats to indicate that the fridge is running on gas, should be only lit when the fridge is running and the top switch is on, which also shows the water and battery level indicators, so if it's on and the fridge aint running on gas, something wrong.
The bottom switch just turns on the gas tank de-icer.

Have you put a hose in the water inlet tank on the outside, switched the water on and then gone and stood in the door to watch the indicator lights go from red-amber-to green.........?? Not teaching you to suck eggs, just curious... if so did it do it and if not you may have a dodgy connector inside the water tank.
"he bottom switch just turns on the gas tank de-icer." ??? Gas tank!!!really, bugger never knew that....... being blonde I thought it was to de-ice the fridge......doh

Liquid gas has to turn into a gas, at a certain temperature it don't do it so well, from the manual:
De-Icer
The De-Icer protects the LPG pressure regulator. With external temperatures of +5° Celsius or less, you should switch on the De-Icer from the display (via the switch on the front of the cooker), about 15 minutes before using equipment which uses LPG. The rd control light will light up.

Turned the fridge to hook up and after a bit the green light went off.
Switched to gas and it came back on but is now stuck on again!
Will have to wait for now as whilst I was revving it up to charge the leisure battery there was a rattling sound then a loud bang from the catalyst area and now it won't start.
I have got a new front pipe without cat to go on so gonna try that first.
