BTW are we sure nemisis isn't just a Troll from a Landrover club, possibly disturbed into action by someone?

Crossed my mind, as an open invite should be of interest to any genuine enquirer... and snapped up.

..anyway, certainly getting his Nemesis now

You're right, obviously - it's entirely up to you how you spell your name - my apologies......

We're a fairly close knit community and know each other pretty well, so when someone turns up with a fantasy location talking about people we know and suggests a Syncro camper is on a level with a 110 camper conversion we might get a little defensive.

I've been out laning with people from Difflock.com. After the first half hour one of the guys in a Range Rover got out, came up to me and said 'why do people bother doing camper conversions on 110s when these are so good?'

Curiously I couldn't find an answer to that question for him.

As people have already said - you'll see what these things are like when well driven if you came to one of our events, but that's your look out.

Hmmm.

A troll is someone who pops up and tries to start a fight on the internet by asking loaded questions. Like if someone called SStirr where to post on a landrover forum saying "Tell me why Landrovers are so good, I consider Pajeros to be far superior!"

Reviewing this thread I notice that there were many invites to an event, loads of reasoned arguments and a general acceptance that there isn't anything outstandingly better about the Syncro off road. I would have said that it had all been dealt with reasonably fairly and no one said "Landrovers are poo, go away".

There was no major hostility here and any attempt to make it out as such is just personal politics after the fact. Get over it.
