Have you had a good look on the syncronauts site at all the events?

I have limited experienc off road (so far  ) but watching a little off road setup at an "advanture" show, I thought, blooming heck.. a syncro would walk all over those landies and jeeps..

The experts will be along in a min to let you know..

why would you chose one over a landy for off roading?

Cos when the Land Rover people are drinking nasty tea out of their flasks and being quietly being stunned that they haven't towed you through all of the tracks you've just come up you can make a fresh cup of tea and sit back on a comfy seat with lots of leg room while you drink the tea.

While they're fighting with their tents, or levelling up their horrid little caravan you can make your dinner in your van and then flip the comfy seat down into a bed when the time comes.

Even when they break down (which they do, occasionally) you can open the rear door (unless it's a pick up) and shelter in the dry while you repair it, whereas others would be getting very very wet.

Oh and they don't leak oil constantly.

Other than that....

Hi Nemesis,

You are cordially invited to Coney Farm, Stourport on Severn on the weekend of the 1-2 April.

Just follow the link on the forum and sign yourself up as one of the 'syncro-curious', come along and see for yourself, you will be very welcome.

Apart from the less obvious, Syncros are very capable off-road vehicles.

As Mudlark says

Hell, bring a Land Rover along and we'll see how it does in comparison - always fun.

Nice location by the way.

Articulation is compensated by 2 yes 2 diff locks(convienienty controled from the cab)As for ground clearance my one syncro must be coming on 22 inches and no nasty diffs hanging between the wheels.Weigh disdribution is perfect with the engine in the back. The only negative thing is aproach angle but that can be fixed  I may even tow u out when u get stuck. Then settle down in a nice comfy bed for a good nights sleep to carry on in the morning. Can anybody post photos,if so i will give a sneek preview to the new prodgect.(can email to u to put up)

Oh, did someone mention they can turn circles inside Landies, what a fantastic tight lock, now that can be very useful off-road - very!
