help crank sensor?

help crank sensor?

hi all just been fitting a donor engine in to my van there is a sensor that comes from the flywheel housing well i forgot to fit it so i have got to remove the engine and refit but where does it plug in to thanks chris

It just a TDC sensor for the VW diagnostic system you don't need it, good idea to blank the hole off though, in case any thing drops in there.

Core! Is that the 20mm or so hole up near the op of the crank case behind the flywheel?
