Spray Job C & D Finishings

Post by jokerman »

To all,

I'm looking to get my van painted at C & D finishings in Wolverhampton. I've been quoted around £1100. Is this a lot of money? Did anyone have a van done by them? Does anyone know this company? Is the work quality good? Can anyone recommend another paint shop in this area?

Thanks for all your help.

Best Regards

yes I had mine done about four years ago there.
I was very happy with the quality of work done for the money I paid.

C&D is by no means a restoration resprayer. They normally respray new/used commercial vans/trucks by contract.

4 years on, I now have a little seam rash coming back through the new paint. Which was predicted by C&D.

C&D have resprayed over 15 vans from 80-90 to my knowledge.
The owner (Colin) is a plain talking black country bloke, with over 20 years experience.

If asked if I would have them do it again....
It would depend on the money I had.
for £1100 I would say yes
If I wanted more of a show finish with rusty panels removed and replaced with new, or the rust treated and retarded then I would expect to pay more than double that
