Replacement heat exchangers - 2.0l Aircooled

Post by orangebooboobearcrew »

Need to replace my heat exhangers on 1980 2.0l petrol Aircooled and was wondered where best to get these from.

Are oem parts still available for these?

I can see JK and GSF stock these but was wondering what the quality was like and if anyone had fitted these how they were bearing up?

Are there any other suppliers anyone can recommend?

Thanks in advance,

Chris :)

Just had a full system fitted to my 1.6 (ouch) from JK for the princely sum of £400 plus fitting...
It was 99% original VW and the difference to the bus is fantastic! Heat...heat....and yet more heat!
Hurts the wallet for a while but warms the feet for a lot longer!

Try JK, VW or several other outfits. They should be available.
was....82 Westy, 80 Mk. 3 Transporter, 69 Bay
now....66 T1 LHD 1.6 Bus

* If you need it to arrive safe & in one piece..*
