Fan for heater

Can anyone please tell me,
Is the heater fan inside the heater box. Ive nearly removed the dash and just want to make sure before i continue.

Likewise, but haven't taken the plunge into that area yet..

Seems to be fairly common at the 15~@20 year mark fo these, can't really complain suppose...

But dreading taking mine apart, tend to get by once it's warm and I'm trucking

You wait until you get a thick frost on your windscreen and have to wave a board at the front to try to get some air through the heater to thaw it!

What a job 5 hours and counting so far. got it out. oiled it up. now to put it back to gether again.
Prob would cost a fortune at a garage..

don't know if you have put it back together yet , the blower motor has bushes at both ends of the spindle mine had seized solid on one end the other end inside the motor casing was gunked up and needed freeing to make the fan work on 1 and 2 , I decided to take the motor out of it's casing and found the bush inside the casing that was not obvious unless you take it apart and it's been done a few months now and runs like new .

Did you disconect the coolant pipes ? I didn't and to be honest I thought it was going to be a hellva job , really it was easy just time consuming . I hope all is well and it works , if not check inside the motor it might be the brushes ..... link to a previous post when I did mine ..... might help you

Yes cheers dwayne. all done as you say very time consuming yet not a bad job.
Only difficult part was the nut that holds the steering colume,
Other than that all working, All done with no manual, Though seven hours in all.
Blows like a pro,
