If you get a new set of AVO shocks. Do you have to activate them, buy pushing them through 3 full strokes before fitting?

No, the car will do that for your in the first moments of normal driving.

It wouldn't hurt to prime them but I think this is just one of those urban myths.
I do it but Can't honestly say it is something that should be done.

Have fitted lots of shocks.. both street and racing.. and never done it. But mostly gas shocks, so not easy to do and then install. :lol:
