My Leisuredrive hightop 1988 was fitted with rather crude square section tubes which slid into other square tubes so as to control the moveable section with the folding up bit hinged and secured in the seated position with sliding bolts into the side. I dumped the tubes and don't have hinges. The (cab) end of the bed just hangs over by some six inchs and I see no need for hinges. In fact SWIMBO stands on it to stow the bedding wher the top bed used to be. From mwhat I have seen some people are carryinf around a whole load of unessecary metalwork!
Cheers
