want to fit smooth grill to front of a/c t25 for economy

Post by grace72 »

Has anybody fitted a smooth grill to replace the normal grill to the front of an Aircooled t25?
I have possibly crazy ideas of increasing fuel efficiency beyond simply driving slowly(easy!) lowering the springs and fitting a chin spoiler! I want futrue proof my heavy old brick as much as possible :D

Realise I need to keep the fresh air vent exposed and probably not inc the lights.

Anyone done this noticed a difference?

just blanking the grill wont give you any more fuel economy.
but it will make you bus look horrid!!!

to get the best mpgs make sure it is set up right (ie timing ad fuelling) has the correct tyre pressures and dont cart around any un necessary c.rap!!!
