Anyone modified their wipers to have integral washers?

Post by ringo »

Its quite a common upgrade on landrovers to plumb in the washer jets along the wipers. This means that the water goes on the window and not above it.

These are available for landy's:

Has anyone done this on a T25?

Just wondering if i should give it a go - cause my washers really annoy me at this time of the year...

I fitted the twin washer jets. i.e. two holes. Much better spread for the size of windscreen!

I looked at doing this using wipers from a truck as the washers are on the arms but never got round to it plus where the washer jet is its a bit far to the arm of the wiper to run the tube very interested if you sus it out tho buddy!

Yes - thats the same sort of gig as the landy boys use..

Trouble is with pug blades - i doubt they are big enough for a van?
