Square headlights

Post by el sketcho »

I've been trying to find some near side units to replace the ones I've got as they've bother got holes in the glass. It's not going well.
Does anyone know where I can get some? I've tried Just Kampers, Vw and GSF.
Also is there any other headlights that would fit? I know the inner light from a sirocco will fit. Would a MKII jetta light fit?

scirocco lights are longer :( dont know about jetta, most jap cars from the eighties/nineties had lights of the same physical dimensions but with slightly rounded edges, I am doing an experiment with a pair from a celica ( pop up headlight one) this afternoon as it happens! fitting and adjustment is different, If sucsesful i will post my results...

here you go.. a couple of hours work and £10 for a pair of 90's ( i think) celica lights and here is a pair of fully adjustable replacement lights! only thing is the adjusters are in different places so I will either have to remove the grill to adjust them or drill holes in the grill where the new adjuster are not exactly a major problem. wasnt very difficult to do if you know ya way round some basic tools.. if there is interest i could explain more how I did it
