battery read 12.6 this morning - I put it on charge overnight but it was all done within 5 mins of putting it on charge so left it to continue topping up/maintaining.
Turned over quite well this morning - gave the glow plugs a couple of heat cycles but gave up and made the decision to go in the car with Heather and take the extra long journey to work (an hour compard to 25 minutes)
Hopefully Marcus is popping over Wednesday evening
Need to look at some more cars this weekend, dark evenings don't help
once I get another car the van will be on the market - running preferably, so if you know anyone after a twin slider with a full witdth rock n roll bed, twin sunroofs - might throw in some spare doors (slider, tailgate and cab doors in matching colours) fiamma bike rack and few other bits.
Decided we are going to have cars for a while - will look at van option next spring/summer
cheers weazle, its a minefield of too many options.
Decided against a Vectra Estate yesterday, now looking at Honda Accord estates, but want to go to one of those car supermarkets only to view cars in one place. Scared about buying private though - risky, but dealers are a lot more expensive though provide warranties.
My bro in law reckons a bmw 3 series estate but I'm not a big beemer fan. It was cold cold cold yesterday and I didn't do myself any favours, I could feel the sore throat and aches coming on - I only got up about 12pm today and then I just stayed half asleep in the loft.
i used to buy and sell cars before i started this haulage business.............. and,,,please dont do the car "supermarket" thing.. you will just be chucking £900 down the drain.
all those SALESMEN need to be paid and all of that snazz costs money(your money). i actually saw a secondhand citroen in there for £500 more than a brand new one(sounds like Carcrapped).
but it your money

I'm only going to one of those place to view the cars -- that way I can compare different models side by side, I wouldn't buy from them so don't worry
Its the wrong time of year to go viewing as it gets dark so early and I only have part of the weekends to go looking - plus it doesn't help when sellers aren't in as arranged or cars somehow aren't in the showroom
