Syncro16 3.3 Driveby video

The 2.5 is also a good choice.

I converted mine from a 1.9 to a EJ22 (thats the engine code for the 2.2!) and I love it !!! I can sit in 4th gear most of the time, fuel mpg is much better, where most vans are in 2nd up hills im in 3rd overtaking them! Can be a pain on wet grass have to take it easy getting off campsites as it will spin the wheels very easily!

1.9 to Subaru

A complete revelation, both in performance and economy. :D If you can afford to put one in,do it. Ive just been to Cornwall for a week and we returned about 30mpg. 8) Out performs most modern saloons and sits at 80mpg all day. Did mine myself and it cost me about £1600 inc all parts and 2.2 engine.
These engines are way ahead of the VW engine with 4 valves per cylinder and 5 main bearing crank, fuel injection etc, very smooth and quiet running.
Highly recomended. :D
