Help needed please. 1984 19 DG Pierburg 2e3, carbs been off for a clean and check. since its been back on the revs seem to stick. Turn the engine off ,restart its ok untill you go past half throtle then sticks again. Its not the cable its something in the carb. Thanks

Make sure the secondary throttle plate and or the control mechanism is working as it should.

Broken or wrongly fitted return spring on the fast idle
