Hiya, swap the busted DF for a reconditioned or good, known s/h 1.9DG or 2.1DJ and an lpg conversion ... cheap as chips motoring

Just remember BODYWORK is everything.

Good luck, Ian.

I'll vouch for Ian - bodywork is EVERYTHING - I have spent months on my van with rot

ok so i went to look at my first t25 was really tidy for a 84 model all
original except passenger door has had work. few little scabs here and there
the only bad bit is the front valance area near the bumper its corroded and there are small holes, can this panel be purchased and is it easy to replace.
it just needs an engine i dont know if i should repair the old one or replace with a doner unit.

Take a look in For Sale General ... many of the breakers sell known good engines for ~ £400. Owt lower or less known and you're taking a gamble that may end in tears.
