Does anyone know where I can get hold of the rubber gasket/seal which sits between the door and the mirror? :?
Just tried VW and the part was discontinued in '96.
help, as always, much appreciated

Failing everything else, make them from innertube (use several layers if required).

Got some 6mm sheet I can use for the DIY approach, if no joy..
..prob try anyway

The originals were plastic so should be fairly straightforward to fabricate

Agree. Really not worth going to trouble of buying new ones. Come to think of it....how about a hot water bottle cut up? Again just a £1 from £1 shops :lol:
