It's always flipping cold especially as it's near the east coast!!!!!!!!! Only thing slightly warming near there is decent serving of fish and chips.

It was certainly wet in the Peak Distrect this weekend. Saturday nights rain didn't help. As predicted the student Caving population had no idea what a syncro was, they do now  .

Most cars just got pushed by an army of people back to the track but when an LDV (or T4) trys offroading, gets stuck, revs alot, spins wheels, is left overnight... 6 tyres sank near 2 inch deap each. Tied to my van, reverse with the diffs locked it came streight out on the first attempt! I'm even more happy with BFG AT's now, they were fantastic on the soggy grass! The T4 owner wishes he had the syncro version now.

That said I did find if you actully drive a front wheel drive car VERY gently and pick up momentum smoothly they don't seem to need much pushing, but few drivers do that, prefering to dig a trench with wheelspin - fine by me as I can earn pints off extracting them. Bet when the land owner sees it next they'll blaim 4x4s for cutting up the grass though

Mud and More Mud

Post by rogerg-wagon »

My what a weekend, no,... not with the mud, did a training course on the way to Wisbech thought I might be allowed to come and find you all.
Got as far as th A14 then l.h. window on Passat dissapeared inside the door and within minutes the clutch slave cylinder lost all its fluid,it was bloody freezing, had to stop 70 miles short and get recovered home to Devon 8 Hours later....
Anyone fancy a clutchless very cold Passat! see items for sale 1.9TD AAZ motor.
Hope you all had a good time
