2L Aircooled
On my way home last night I suddenly lost power, (it had to be on the steepest hill in the area.)
On investigation, the metal rod between the throttle pedal and cable assembly had fallen out. Luckily I found it on the floor by torchlight and bodged it back in to get me home.
The rod looked undamaged but after searching on here and pouring over the Haynes joke book, I cant see what holds this permanently in place. Is there an integral clip of some sort on the back of the throttle pedal thats broken clean off or something on the cable assembly?
Cheers

Throttle Pedal Push Rod
Thanks Mocki,
Yes, I do mean on the back of the throttle pedal. Mine has nothing left to clip into.
It seems that I need a new pedal (and rivets)
Seems like a trip to gsf is in order.
Thanks again.
