Syncro 16" single cab

Post by Oberschlachter »

Friend of mine has a 16" single cab (yes, real one, 245 09A) he might sell. Looks like it is quite rare - 2138 syncros with 16" option ever made, and only 33 of them were single cabs. It's is 1991, 1.6TD, original condition (blue), driven 104000km, has rear & front diff. locks (AVU), original 16" wheels, fender flares etc all the 16"-stuff. Of course some rusts spots & tiny dents. We were wondering what might be a reasonable asking price, ideas? Being one of 33 ever made it should be something?

Thanks.

In scandinavia. Yep, but any references about price? Have you seen ones for sale lately (ok, busman has a 16" sika for sale, but it's quite rough...)?

A 16 single cab may be rare but not very usefull. So the price depends on wether the purchases is willing to pay for its rarety.

Hi!

I think as Russel write they are not very usefull and most people want an car to use not only look at it.

Soo i don´t think the market is that big.

Here is one that was sold on auction this year.
1 owner and in same condition as your for 3900 Euro

Dual difflock and servo steering.

16" single cab

Post by tristar-connection »

Well - Russel is correct... As being a collector - it might interesting to have - just for normal use it may be differ not much from a regular 14"...

Anyway - put it up for auction and you`ll see... selling for top $$$ you might need some years finding the right person. I bought an original 16" SINKA lately - dual difflock, power steering, adjustable headlamps , completely re-done front differential , fresh 1.6 TD engine and I paid 5.500 EUR for it because I wanted to have one, although the longer I think about the purchase I have to face it was may be a little too much.... The car is absolutely roadworthy but will need a complete restoration at one point...
