If the content in those photo galleries has been pruned/edited then I'm a Dutchman. E.g. why would you need 11 photos of this:

Short on webspace?

Can't imagine why.

The website gets a good trawl every month or so, in one area or another.
Recently, a couple of the original Syncronauts event galleries inherited from here and there have been whittled down (both over 100Mb to 30 Mb) and the later ones yet to be looked at are already much smaller.

That one is 30k or thereabouts I think, so getting it in proportion, 10 of those might be 1% of that Devon gallery I guess.

Don't think Jenny's going to jump to that tomorrow, nor the next day - however nicely I ask!

Exactly what is it you've got to go up, that's so big, the website can't cope?

It's not a matter of what I've got to go up on the site, it's the ridiculous number of pictures that we are presenting to anyone having a browse to see what we do.

Surely the website should present a selection of the best and most exciting photos from events, rather than just a glut of what are essentially 'family pictures'. Judicious editing isn't just making the pictures small, it's presenting something that will hold people's attention.

Syncro website

Just musing but why does the syncronaut logo link to the syncro forum(which can be accessed from the opening page anyway) rather than the syncro website which is accessed via the first thread in the syncro forum, which doesn't appear to be locked ?

because that's what I asked Stephen to link it to, wherever you are a quick link straight to Syncro forum, the club80-90 one takes you back to the default forum page.

What do you think they should do then?

I'm only first to answer this, and it's only my opinion, but the Club 80-90 webspace will be left to rot if no-one ever sees it anyway.........

The Syncro forum is easy enough to get to - the Syncro webspace should be the link from the Syncro logo...... :D

Ok, we didn't think of that, just wanted to make it symmetrical with the clib80-90 logo so to speak, but that's a good idea Jen, will suggest this is done asap...

one can get to the club80-90 website by the way, from the link right at the bottom of the forum, but we should maybe re-address this (sic)

especially as Steve has spent a lot of time lately updating all the Readers Rides (Pride and Joys)...

Hi Harry
I think that it is too important to be accessed by a link in a thread on the syncro forum.
I think it should link to the website - the website does have a link back to the syncro forum.
I'm not sure that it should open up in another explorer window though, I often have too many explorer windows running.
I had to 'dig' the link out to check out my gearbox and front axle ID numbers.
As a matter of fact, I can't find my front diff code on the sheets.
Any advice on these ?

Thanks,
I think we will redirect these links, certainly the syncro website unless we put distinct links up at the top.

Well, the AVR is there as you say, showing a 5.43 diff

If you confirm this is correct (rear difflock), 5.43 for AVR then perhaps we should add AVT as the front for this spreadsheet row? Believe your AVT front does not have diff-lock?

No idea why the front is missing as does indicate 16", so must have - will re-check original source on this Harald's sheet.
