Ive painted my van, again!

Post by fairwynds »

Seven years ago I bought my van, and she was brown (!) and my kids hated the colour (errrm, as did I!) so we painted her using a polyurethane coach paint and a roller and brush. Only had time to do one coat then, so over the years of polishing the brown started to show through...
This week I got lucky when the boss said I could use the space in a hangar at work...so.....rollers and brushes in hand, she got a spruce up!
In total, only took about 20 hrs all told. I am lucky not to be covering lots of rust, so she only needed minimal preparation (still takes forever tho!)
Two coats this time. One day I will have her resprayed, but in the meantime, im off camping............ :D
