Chrome domes

Post by little.legs »

:D I am looking at getting some chrome hubcaps for my steel wheels. Just wondered what peoples opinions were of the ones available from the likes of JK, Volkspares or VW.
Regards

Go for the best you can afford. The JK ones are cheap and i have heard they don't keep their chrome for very long.
Never sure where I'm going till i get there.

We got the £20 ones from VW Heritage, seem to be good quality, plenty chrome on them. was advised not to buy the
cheapies (dad in motor trade) as they wouldn't last long :)
Not today, i'm busy! 4236

I've had the cheapo versions and treated the back to a liberal coating of Waxoyl.... You get what you pay for, but this does seem to extend the life of them somewhat.

I'm looking a set of primered ones to paint.... anybody know if there are/is a source for these? :)
