dont use them their crap,had a 2.1 MV and a DJ come back with buzzer of doom on,change back to MAN filter sorted,so be warned,cj.
bought some real off roaders!!!!!!!

thats funny as they are one of the largest filter makers in the world and also do oe spec stuff

sold them for over 23 years never had a problem
sounds like u were very unlucky
number 1590 i think!!!!

I had one splitt on a golf diesel which then seized, it is/was a common problem with lots of aftermarket filters on vw diesels.

For the cost of the Mann ones it's not worth fitting anything else. They have all the propper valvework inside to maintain residual oil pressure when switched off.
Cheaper filters omit this facility.
I am unaware of manufacturer that use fram as OE.

Alot of renault filters are fram, that says it all really, "pooh" filters for "pooh" cars.

Most of oil filter are perflux with a few fram ones.
Most of air filters are fram or they just say renault.
