exhaust heat shield????

Hi,

Please see photo below the bit between the exhaust and the engine is rusted in about 20 places and will not go back onto this engine does anyone know the part number or where I can get a new one from??

I believe it's supposed to hold the coolant resevoir so I cant leave it off or can I???

Rusty or rusted away as the top looks pretty good...

there will be any number of people on here with a good used one....

for a sensible price...

Rusted to the point it fell off very rusty and damaged at the two bottom bolts.

Would prefer new if they still make them, looks like a part prone to rattles and the like!!

would probably seal and paint before re-fitting new or used anyways
